I posted a train plow video in the "Cool Snow Plows" article on the FP. It seems popular. So here are some more. They have a bit of violent beauty. Kind of like slow motion explosives.
Rotary snow plow.
Here is a train getting stuck in a ridiculous drift. At the end the guy asks, "how do we get them out? more power?" Of course, more power is always the answer.
